Hair Turned Blue Grey After Bleaching
I found that out in the 1980s when i tried to bleach a section of it and it turned bright orange.
Hair turned blue grey after bleaching. Tomato ketchup can be used when highlighted or bleached blonde hair goes green in swimming pools etc as it apparently neutralises the green somehow but i dont know about blue - ive never heard of anyones hair turning blue im afraid - might be worth a call to the salon first thing tomorrow it could be your dye has reacted with the one the salon used so they might be able to help - sorry i. If anyone ever stumbles across this thread looking to repair their grey hair nightmare I used Superdrug own brand only 399 a box in Lightest Golden Beige Blonde the very next evening and it turned out beautifully I now have lovely bright blonde hair with a whitesilvery shimmer to it. She buzzed all her hair off to go gray and after a while she grew it long again.
Dig out your best curling tong and add a few waves to create the illusion of movement. Leave it in 30 minutes and you could have hair the same color as the toner. It will definitely help you may need several rounds to get as much out as possible.
The hairdresser said that was as light as it would ever get. Basically leaving in a blue toner too long can dye your hair blue while a purple toner can dye your hair purple. The ash toner should soon wash out because when the bleach from your roots is shampooed off it will act like a mild bleach shampoo on the rest of the hair I would not recommend any more bleach on the rest of your hair unless it is in good condition as I.
I had found that using a mixture of 3 lemons and 14 of conditioner would help remove the toner. If the former is true and your bleaching product has a built-in bluing agent you should simply be able to use a clarifying shampoo and rid yourself of the bluepurple undertones in your hair. Gray hair can be tricky to deal with.
Let it sit for no more than 3-5 minutes. I figured why not. For the record I do not recommend this method to get my eventually lovely.
This will help. For entirely gray hair it has likely lost its yellow pigment leaving behind blue and red. If you bleach it what you will get is a warm golden brown.
